Biography
Dr. Mudasser Naseer received his M.Phil. degree in Statistics from Govt.
College University, Lahore, in 1999 and MS degree in CS from LUMS Lahore, in
2004. In 2010, he received his Ph.D. degree in the area of Pattern Recognition
and Intelligent System from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics,
China, in 2010. During his Ph.D., he worked under the esteemed guidelines of
Pro. Shi Yin Qin in the area of Non-Linear Dimensionality Reduction Methods. He
worked as Assistant Professor in the department of CS at COMSATS, Lahore campus
from 2010 to 2016, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of
Computer Science, Wenzhou-Kean University, China, from 2016 to 2018. This is a
satellite campus of Kean University, New Jersey, USA. Dr. Mudasser has
published numerous research articles in different prestigious Journal and
International Conferences. He has served as General Secretary of ICACS’20 and
ICACS’23, an IEEE International Conference organized by the Faculty of IT, the
University of Lahore. Dr. Mudasser actively engaged in scholarly peer review
process of multiple international and local journal and conferences. Currently
he is working as Associate Professor with the Department of CS & IT, the
University of Lahore, Pakistan. His research interests include data science,
pattern recognition, machine learning, and computational statistics.
