Ameer Hamza is working as a Lecturer at Department of Computer Sciences, The University of Lahore since 2017. His research interests focused on networked systems, particularly in the context of security and measurement. Currently, He is working on Security Data Collection and Data Analytics with using statistical data, machine/deep learning and AI on the Internet (including Edge, Smog, Fog and cloud computing).
Prior to this, he worked as a Visiting Lecturer for two years at Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Sargodha, Sargodha, Pakistan and worked as a System and Network Manager for five years in the industry. He received the Master's degree with the dissertation titled "Feasibility Study of Transport Layer Security for Multipath TCP" from University of Sargodha, Pakistan in 2016 under the supervision of Mr Farooq Javeed, Dr M. Ikram Ullah Lali and Mr Ehsan Elahi. He has published several journal articles and attended international conferences.
