Biography:


Muhammad Atif Nazir remained a prominent Aitchisonian and Ravian, polishing his debating, extra-curricular and English speaking skills, and completed his Bachelor's degree from Government College, Lahore. He did his Bachelor's in Law from Punjab Law College, Lahore, securing an overall 8th Position in the University of the Punjab, and stood second among boys. Thereafter, after successful completion of a few Diplomas in the Computer Basics, as well as Post Graduate Diploma in International Affairs from the University of the Punjab, he did his Master's in Law from the same University, by undertaking his Post Graduate Legal Research on the topic, "Advocacy and its Ethical Side: a Comparison of the Islamic Law Perspective with the Prevalent Western Paradigm, Elucidating the Requirement of Fair Law Practice under Islam"; securing a distinction. He was interested in Legal Mentoring right from the outset, and thereby remained a Visiting Faculty Member in the Law College of the University of the Punjab since 2005, apart from teaching at few other prominent Law Colleges of the metropolis, like Punjab Law College, Pakistan Law College, Superior Law College, National Law College and the School of Law. His diversified experience includes Law practice in Criminal and Family side at trial and appellate level, remaining an associate at the Arif’n Arif Law Firm, and serving as a Director LL.B. Program in the permanent Faculty of the School of Law. Currently, he serves as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Law of the U.O.L., teaching, inter alia, the subjects of Interpretation of Statutes, Introduction to Law, and is assigned the Supervision of the Research Project of the said Department as well.
