Biography
Dr. Muhammad Nauman Aslam has been an Assistant
Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics since October 2017.
He completed his M.Phil. and M.Sc. degrees in Mathematics from the Department of
Mathematics, GC University, Lahore. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics
from Xian Jiaotong University, China in 2018. He also worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at GC University, Lahore. His research interests include
Computational Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer Analysis, Numerical solutions of
PDEs, Bifurcation and Stability Analysis. He has published 20 research papers in
international journals and 1 book chapter in Springer Nature. He has supervised 14 M.Phil. students. Currently,
he is supervising 2 M.Phil. and 5 Ph.D. students. He is an HEC-approved supervisor. Besides teaching, he has performed multiple duties
such as being Member BOS Civil Engineering Department, a member admission committee, a member departmental examination committee, a PT-member QEC, course mentor of the BS program, and a Focal Person for online classes.
