Biography:


Mr Ali Irfan is synthetic and medicinal organic chemist who employs different synthetic strategies to prepare different scaffolds, analogs and nanomaterials for application in the areas of medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry and material chemistry. In the medicinal chemistry, his current focus is in the area of cancer, diabetes research, preparation of novel metal-free organic dyes for solar cell and organic scaffolds for metal organic frameworks (MOFs). Other interests include natural product isolation, identification and analysis of food for toxicology studies.

Mr. Ali Irfan is PhD scholar in GC University Faisalabad and completed his Master of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Government College (GC) University Faisalabad Pakistan.  He worked on project titled as synthesis and biological evaluation of quinoxaline derivatives by utilizing various synthetic methodologies’’. Mr. Ali irfan did his B.Sc (Hons) and Master of Science in Chemistry from GC University, Lahore-Pakistan, and completed  research projects in his B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc on “Optimal conditions for the production of antibiotic bacitracin’’ and “Preparation of Polyurethane Resin and Foam’ respectively.

Mr. Ali Irfan have industrial research experience as a Senior Scientist at the R&D Cell of Qarshi Industries (PVT) Ltd. and Chief R&D and QC of Top Treatments and completed different commercial R&D projects in the fields of medicinal syrups, Juices, Powder drinks, Energy drinks, Tablets, Traditional Food Syrups, Jams and developed different quality control parameters for herbal, food and pharmaceutical products.
