Biography
Dr. Qudsia Kanwal is Associate professor at Chemistry department , The University of Lahore. She is working in this department since 2016. she is working as Lab coordinator and as a section head of organic chemistry section. She is an active researcher. She has 60 publications of journals of international repute with IF: 200 and files 4 patents. She has developed many prototype products for industrial applications. Her research interest are Organic synthesis, phyto-nanomedicine, development of biomaterial for bone tissue engineering and as mucoadhesive drug delivery, drug designing, development and delivery for wound healing, diabetes and cancer. She has recently developed cost effective mouth wash against dental caries from herbal origin. She has designed Temp & pH sensitive smart drug delivery system for anticancer target specific drug delivery.she has converted PET bottle to biodegradable material.for the reduction of Smof. She is also working on different environmental issues like water purification and antismog agents and coatings to reduce air pollution. using self cleaning Nano sized materials to reduce water and environmental pollution. Currently she is working on herbal nanomedicine for complete eradication of diabetes and against infectious diseases spread by influeza virus. 70 MPhil students and 2 PhD students are on her credit. 3 PhD and 7 Mphil students are working under her supervision.
