Biography:


Abdul Rehman Yasin completed his bachelor of science in electrical engineering and masters in electrical engineering form U.E.T Lahore. He served in the research and development section of Microtech Industries for a period of two years and finally joined UOL in 2008. He was a student member of IEEEproject committee at UET-2005. In the same year his project titled, “Shaheen”, related to the design of control systems for under-actuated flying vehicles, won over all the best project award at “A.Q.Khan Research Laboratories Kahuta”. The project “Shaheen” won a price money of thirty thousand form KRL while and additional amount of one hundred and fifty thousand was granted by Lt.Gen.Muhammad Akram (V.C UET Lahore) for the development of engine powered autonomous helicopter which was completed and submitted to communication research lab at UET in 2006. He has vast experience of arranging national level engineering exhibition as a member of Electronic Club UET (2002-2006). He won IEEE software competition at UET in 2005. He started project exhibitions and other educational competitions in 2009 at EE-Department UOL. Students working under his supervision finally got ECE registered under OSA in 2012. His devoted responsibility and spectacular efforts made ECE one of the eminent and leading society of UOL today. Students under his supervision won countless awards at national level. He is outstanding from all perspectives either demonstrative or technical and possesses phenomenal exemplary qualities of convincing his mettle. He is incredible in research field, in short course he has been author of many research papers which he has represented at international level. He has been granted research funding of more than one hundred thousand from Federal Ministry of Information and Technology under the banner of “National ICT R&D Funds”. He is also mentoring a project of three phase inverter funded by “Innovation & Incubation Center”; The University of Lahore. His research work on “Sliding Modes Control in Dc Micro Grids” was accepted for presentation at EPE IEEE section Romania in 2016. His traveling to present the research work was funded by Gheorghe Asachi, Technical University of Iasi
