Biography

Dr. Tayyab Naseer completed his Ph.D. in the field of General Relativity and Cosmology from University of the Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam Campus, Lahore. He has been awarded by a Gold Medal in his M.Phil. in 2020. He has diversity in his research work. He has published some work on the complexity of self-gravitating systems, decoupled anisotropic solutions to the field equations, quark stars, gravitational collapse, black holes and some alternative theories of general relativity. In particular, he has published some recent work on the accelerating universe through different models of dark energy in f(R), f(R,T), f(R,L_m,T) and f(R,T,Q) theories of gravity. He has published 53 research papers in journals of international repute with a total impact factor of more than 195. His work has largely been cited by national and international researchers, and the total citations are more than 1035. He is a reviewer of various well-reputed impact factor international journals. His h-index is 20 and i10-index is 32 (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=EhG_x6YAAAAJ&hl=en).

Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Lahore.
