Biography
Ms. Mishal Muneer is a
distinguished professional with a strong foundation in Computer Science and a
fervent commitment to academic excellence and research. She holds a Master of
Science degree in Software Engineering from the prestigious National University
of Sciences and Technology (NUST), where she honed her skills and knowledge in
this dynamic field.
Her journey to academic
distinction began during her undergraduate years, where she earned the
distinction of being a Silver Medalist in Information Technology, a testament
to her dedication and intellectual prowess. Her academic achievements continued
to shine as she secured the 2nd position among 45 competing teams in the 1st
Open House Project Exhibition held at KFUEIT, Rahim Yar Khan, showcasing her
innovative problem-solving abilities. Additionally, she achieved the 3rd
position at the Speed Programming Science Gala 2017, held at KFUEIT, Rahim Yar
Khan, demonstrating her exceptional coding skills and analytical acumen.
With a strong foundation in
academia, she also ventured into industry experience as a Front-End Developer
at Brownfox Technology, Rahim Yar Khan, where she further sharpened her
practical skills and contributed to real-world projects.
Currently, she serves as a
dedicated Lecturer at the University of Lahore, a role she assumed in March
2022. Her passion for teaching extends to a wide array of programming-related
subjects, and she leads comprehensive courses in Artificial Intelligence and
Machine Learning. Her influence also extends to guiding and supervising various
final-year projects across diverse domains, mentoring and shaping the next
generation of computer scientists.
Her research pursuits are
centered on Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing,
and Artificial Intelligence, reflecting her commitment to pushing the
boundaries of knowledge in these fields. Her dedication and contributions have
led to two notable research publications, "Tour Spot Recommendation System
via Content-Based Filtering," published in the 16th International
Conference on Open Source Systems and Technologies (ICOSST), and "Common
Problems in Software Requirement Engineering Process: Employer vs.
Employees," presented at the 4th International Conference on Advancements
in Computational Sciences (ICACS'23).
In 2023, she actively contributed
to the success of the UOL Computer Science Department's International
Conference, ICACS’23, solidifying her commitment to academic and research
excellence.
She is characterized by her

thrive under pressure. She excels both independently and as a team leader, with
a remarkable capacity to adapt swiftly to new skill areas and challenges. Her
