Biography
An expert of mechanical design engineering, Mr. Khurram Hameed earned his Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. He is currently PhD scholar in the same university.
Mr. Hameed has a rich experience of more than a decade in a variety of technical areas encompassing Research and Development, Academics, and Technical Projects. He is involved in wide range of contributions including but not limited to: teaching undergraduate students, supervising undergraduate theses, publishing in international journals, participating in a number of lab development and expansion projects, training of faculty, staff and students, student counseling and administration work.
His research interests and skill sets include:
- Mechanical Engineering Design, Computer aided Engineering (CAE), Modeling and Simulation, Finite Element Analysis
- Ultrasonics and its Applications. Design, Evaluation and Testing
- Mechanics of Composites
- Mechanical Vibrations, Engineering Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Experimental Stress Analysis
- Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Renewable Energy Systems, Turbomachinery
- Development and supervision of State-of-the-art Engineering Laboratories and Research Projects
- Indigenization of Technology: Design and Development using Indigenous Resources
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills, Team-Player, Strong Work Ethics, Result-Oriented, Quality and Safety Conscious, Multi-Cultural and Multi-Linguistic Skills
