I am a Lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering at the University of Lahore. I design, develop, and evaluate assistive technologies to address new societal challenges, such as healthcare, accessibility and well-being. Research methods include:
Human–computer interaction by design and use of computer technology, focused on the interfaces between people and computers.
User-centered design of technologies driven by deep requirement analysis with traditional methods.
Development of new technologies by defining frameworks, and developing toolkits and platforms for rapid prototyping of assistive and learning applications.
Implementation of context-awareness of users and the environment, intelligible user interfaces and visualizations to provide effective insights and services.
Validation of real-world applications to evaluate technologies in lab and field studies.
I have conducted research on mobile interfaces and web-based projects. This allows me to develop impactful technological solutions for multiple domains, and to translate these innovations from the lab to society.
