Biography:


Iqra Bashir holds a degree in M.Phil (Space Science) from university of the Punjab. She is co-author of one international publication. Her M.Phil research was entitled "A study of Aerosol properties over Jambi (Indonesia) using Remote Sensing". Part of this research was accepted for presentation in ATMOS (Advances in Atmospheric Science and Applications) – SEOM (Scientific Exploitation of Operational Missions) – ESA (European Space Agency) which was held in Greece. She has assisted in the dissertation entitled "Study of tectonic geomorphology in the upstream of Tarbela dam in Remote Sensing / GIS (Geographical Information System) perspective" by Saira Mushtaq. She was awarded Punjab university Doctoral Programme Coordination Committee (DPCC) scholarship for M.Phil studies. She has attended many national level seminars and workshops. She has worked as Research Assistant GIS in the Urban Unit (USPMU). She has taught Physics and Mathematics in The Citizens Foundation (TCF) college section.
