Dr. Rubina Sheikh

Dr. Rubina Sheikh was a Fulbright scholar at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she studied for her PhD in English Literature and Criticism. Her area of research is Postcolonial Literature and she is particularly interested in theories of imperialism, global capitalism, and how they are instrumental in spreading a new wave of violence around the world. She also holds post-graduate diplomas in Linguistics and Development Support Communication.
Dr. Sheikh has taught English Language and Literature, as well as courses in Communication at undergraduate and graduate level at many of the leading educational institutes in Lahore for over ten years.
