Biography:

I did my BS Honors with major in Computational Physics in 2013 from Centre for High Energy Physics, University of Punjab. I completed a Masters in Science (MS) in Computer Science from Information Technology University, Lahore. I secured 100% scholarship in the first semester based on my entry test for MS and won the fully funded provincial Govt. scholarship by the Govt. of Punjab for remaining semesters. My MS dissertation is entitled “An Empirical Analysis of Faded Scaffolding in Technology Enhanced Learning Environments”. In this work, an attempt has been made to enhance the learning of physics students of 9th grade through faded scaffolding using a self-built computer platform. Results showed 9.7% increased learning among high achievers and 12.3% increased learning in low achievers. My research interests are “Interactive Learning Platform”, Computer Vision and Machine Learning. During my masters, I’ve completed several projects in machine learning and image processing, CAD (Computer Aided Design) modeling and ICT4D (Information Communication and Technology for Development). During my bachelors, I’ve done some projects in electronics and simulations, also worked in INMOL hospital Lahore as an internee. After completing my masters, I started working as a Teaching Assistant for “Electricity Magnetism”, “Electromagnetic Field Theory” at Information Technology University Lahore from 2015 to 2017. I have joined The University of Lahore as lecturer physics in October-2017.
