Tasawer Shahzad Ahmad is currently an Assistant Professor in the department of Physics, The University of Lahore. He completed his M.Phil in High Energy Physics from the Centre for High Energy Physics (CHEP), University of the Punjab, Lahore. He is involving in teaching, research and administrative duties in the department. He is currently working in the field of Experimental high energy physics in collaboration with a well-renowned laboratory BESIII,
the largest charmonium factory, which is located at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) China. It is designed to study the physics of light hadrons decays, tau lepton, tests of QCD and searches for physics beyond the Standard Model. The BEPC-II experiment was collecting data in 2008.
