Biography:

Dr. Wasaye has completed his PhD (2013-2017) from School of Nuclear Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and Institute of Nuclear Energy Safety Technology (INEST-CAS), Chinese Academy. His PhD research topic was “Monte Carlo Simulation of Electron Bremsstrahlung and Multiple Elastic Scattering”. Dr. Wasaye has published 8 papers in National and International journals. Dr Wasaye’s research interest belongs to Monte Carlo simulation of particle transport (electron, photon, and neutron) especially to develop accurate and efficient methods for modelling physical process in particle transport simulation. During his PhD research work, he has developed efficient and accurate methods for Monte Carlo simulation of electron transport in SuperMC. Super Monte Carlo program for Nuclear and Radiation simulation (SuperMC) is a general purpose, easy-to-use Monte Carlo simulation program, developed by FDS Team at INEST-CAS, for modeling and simulation of nuclear facilities. He is certified medical physicist. His certification was awarded by Radiation Oncology, The Aga Khan University Hospital, Pakistan in 2013. He worked as lecturer in Centre for high energy physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan for 3 years (2008-11). He has participated in several national and international conferences.
