I am Farheen Ansari (born on 5th March) in Karachi in the most lovable family a child can get. My parents tried and made it easy for us to get the best education available. I realize and appreciate them for all their hard work for which they sacrificed to go to gatherings and ceremonies to keep things in budget and our education was not affected. I received my primary education from St. Peter′s High School Karachi, a disciplined, highly reputed school of Karachi. Then I went to the prestigious St. Joseph’s Govt. College for Women, Saddar Karachi for my H.Sc. degree and later the extravagant; The University of Karachi for my B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. (Final, where I secured 3rd position in my discipline).
For the MPhil/PhD studies I could not think of a better choice than my Alma Mater, The University of Karachi where under the kind supervision of Professor Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan I had a great time learning techniques and transforming from being a technician to a researcher, mainly because of his superb guidance I was blessed with. Dr. Shaheen Faizi S.I (ICCBS) is a highly motiving and extremely knowledgeable scientist with whom I have had the good fortune to work with. I feel heartfelt gratitude towards Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Mesaik (PCMD), Dr. Nurul Kabir (PCMD) and Dr. Aqeel Ahmad (The University of Karachi) who were also a source of tremendous knowledge for me. It feels great in saying that I am the first PhD of my family and certainly the first to have obtained the prestigious HEC Indigenous Scholarship.
I consider that Allah Tala has been exceptionally kind to me, providing me all the best always, with the highest level of academic degree, which I secretly believe is deserved by students who are far better than me and perhaps far deserving than me. I thank Allah Tala for being merciful and kind to me and deeply pray He always stays the same, ameen.
