I am the 1st Ph.D. of my entire family. And I am fortune enough to avail HEC Scholarship under Indigenous scholarship scheme Batch-IV and International research support initiative programme for six month in University of Bristol, UK. My dream to pursue higher studies comes true due to the financial support of HEC, Pakistan under these two programme. I have completed my MS leading to Ph.D under the supervision of Dr Erum Akbar Hussain, Assistant Professor, department of chemistry Lahore College for Women University Lahore. I got an opportunity of studying in School of Chemistry, The University of Bristol, UK for six month under IRSIP scholarship of HEC under Supervision of Prof . Christine Wills. Where I received training and hands-on operation on different instruments related to my field like SEM, NMR, FTIR etc. I attended many lectures and research seminars relevant to natural products chemistry which broden my vision and knowledge. I have acquired a multitude of research skills in diverse areas of organic chemistry, academic writing skills, presentation skills and novel synthetic techniques in Bristol University. I must say that the HEC has a superb scheme for talented young researchers to gain invaluable experience in world-leading international laboratories, and I would thank them personally for the support in my research project.
