Biography:


Physicist by Education, Researcher by choice, and Explorer by nature. I am curiously driven person and see myself as a reliable, hardworking, and dedicated person, who works with minimum supervision. I believe that dedication and attention to detail is what sets me apart from others. I strongly believe that for a person tools and technologies are not the constraint; but the mind set with which one adapts them is. Mr. Muhammad Imran Arif has joined the Department of Physics University of Lahore as a Lecturer. Before joining he worked as Visiting Lecturer in Department of Physics University of Education, Lahore. He also spent one year at the Centre for High Energy Physics (CHEP), University of Punjab as Research Demonstrator to pursue his research. He has completed his M.Phil in High Energy Physics in 2015 from the Centre for High Energy Physics (CHEP), University of Punjab, Lahore. Earlier he had earned his BS(Hons) degree (in Computational Physics) from the Same Institute. He secured highest CGPA 3.87/4.0 in BS(Hons) and Luckily exactly the same CGPA factor 3.87/4.0 in M.Phil. He secured 1st position among all sessions of BS(Hons). During BS(Hons) and M.Phil he is awarded Outstanding Merit Scholarship from Department for consecutively 4 years from 2010 -2014. In M.Phil his research work focused on GEANT4 “A Software used for the Detector Simulation”. His interest lies in Experimental Particle Physics. Other than these he has also participated in different National and International Conferences, Workshops and Symposiums.
