Dr. Kashaf Junaid
Dr. Kashaf Junaid have received PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from University of the Punjab, Lahore in December 2015 and also worked as an International PhD Research Scholar in Bart’s institute of Primary Health Care, Royal London Hospital, Queen Marry University of London (December 2013- July 2014).Currently, working as Assistant Professor in University Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, and University of Lahore. Here she is actively involved in taking different undergraduate and postgraduate courses and research activities. Her research title was Prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in Pulmonary TB patients and influence of polymorphism of vitamin D metabolic pathway genes on treatment response in TB patients. Based on this research and fellowship training she received several awards and honors, such as best abstract award from European Respiratory Society (ERS) and also honor of wining prize from Familycon. This research work is presented at national and international forums.
