Biography:

Binish has done her Mphil in Experimental High Energy Physics from Center for High Energy Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore. For her Mphil, she estimated fake rate for one the rare Standard Model processes; single top quark production in association with Z boson when two counter rotating proton beams (p-p) collided at the centre of mass energy of 8 TeV at CMS experiment of Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Switzerland. She is doing her PhD in Particle Physics from University of Siegen, Germany. For this, she is measuring the cross-section of Standard Model process; top pair production in association with photon (ttgamma) for the data collected by ATLAS experiment of LHC. Being heaviest, the study of top quark is most important topic in modern particle physics. Top quark coupling can be a window to new physics, especially top electroweak coupling (top-photon) is sensitive to the top anomalous dipole moments of top quark and the process of ttgamma is a handle to study the top-photon coupling.
