Biography:


Shahrukh Naveed is a graduate from The London Film School in M.A Filmmaking (Post-Graduate), with MERIT in the final Work Research Journal. Prior to that he was a Gold Medalist - Undergraduate TFT Programme (theatre, film & televsion), from Beaconhouse National University. The first big break came with the opportunity to work along side Pakistan's most profilic filmmaker, Shoaib Mansoor, in his feature film "BOL". He entered the film as an intern but was promoted to be the Production Head Assistant. Shahrukh has directed and written a feature length comedy film "TAWEEZ" which addresses the superstitious beliefs still prevailing in the modern day Pakistan. Apart from that, Shahrukh has directed, produced, written, edited and did cinematography for over dozen short films, both nationally and globally. Shahrukh is currently editing a feature film "Ready Steady NO", which is set to release at the end of 2016. Besides that, Shahrukh is a lecturer at School of Creative Arts - University of Lahore.
