Biography:

As a PhD student at University of Alberta, Canada, I am finishing my analysis on “searches for b-associated heavy neutral higgs production and its di-tau decay with taus decaying semi-leptonically” by the end of 2016. I work with HBSM, MSSM/Z' tau tau and Tau Trigger groups of ATLAS collaboration at European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). I am also trigger validation coordinator of ATLAS tau group. My responsibilities include checking results of RTT & ATN tests, memory leaks and counts in different tau trigger chains. In preparation of RUN-2 data taking at Large Hadron Collider, I contributed in various tasks such as merging of high level tau triggers L2 and EF into a single trigger (HLT), converting previous codes in new xAOD format and studying pileup effects on tau identification (ID) variables etc. I am also author of more than 100 papers published under ATLAS collaboration. I hold M.Phil. in High Energy Physics and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computational Physics from University of the Punjab.
