Dr. Ramiz is an Associate Professor of Finance at Lahore Business School, The University of Lahore with an extensive 15+ year executive career portfolio, consisting of cross-functional, institutional success and academic development to provide better administration and planning support to growing academic institutions. He is a passionate and demanding classroom teacher, with a keen interest in the subject and the ability to build upon individual capacity. Dr. Ramiz has started his career as a Lecturer/Admin Accounts from the University of Lahore in 2002, after completing his Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of The Punjab. During his stay at UOL, he upgraded his qualification and earned Master in Business Administration (MBA-executive) degree from the UOL. Moreover, he was also involved in both the financial administration and academic activities of the UOL. In 2007, he became a full-time faculty member of the Department of Management Sciences of the UOL as an Assistant Professor of Finance. He completed his MPhil Management Sciences from UOL in 2009. In 2011, he was awarded a Chinese Government Scholarship for 4 years Ph.D. program. He received his Doctoral degree in Management Sciences from the School of Management (The top Business School in China), Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2016. His research interest includes corporate finance, banking efficiency analysis, corporate governance, and capital markets. He has published several research papers in reputable and impact factor journals including Business Ethics: A European Review (BEER), Sustainability, International Journal of Business Performance Management, Pakistan Development Review and etc.
