Mr Muhammad Imran joined the University of Lahore as a lecturer and has been working efficiently with the department since his joining. He is completed his MPhil in Physics from the University of Lahore. His MPhil research work in (Study of Structural and Optical Properties of Ni-doped Zinc Oxide Nanostructures). His research interests include electronics, Computational Physics, Material science and Solar Energy. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Computational Physics from CHEP, Punjab University in 2014 and graduated with merit. As his final year project, he worked on Solar Power regulation using a hybrid controller, analyzing maximum power output and efficiency and designed a project applying it in solar tube well. In his fourth semester, he worked on a smoke detector with an audio amplifier.
Besides academics, Imran has hands-on experience with solar energy. He organized a Conference on solar energy application for power generation and gave a talk. He has also installed several solar systems all around under the name of Photon Solar Technologies. Apart from that, Imran enthusiastically participates in administrative tasks, organizing events and has a penchant for poetry.
